Liz & Michael

Yeldersley Hall

Yeldersley Hall is a beautiful Derbyshire wedding venue, located near the market town of Ashbourne and was the chosen venue for Liz and Michael’s intimate wedding with small gathering of close family and friends. The floor to ceiling windows which provide beautiful directional lighting in the ceremony room, is just the one of the great features of this gorgeous venue; perfect lighting for capturing Liz and her father entering the room, the wedding vows and Liz and Michael’s processional.  It wasn’t until the father of the Bride made his speech that I came to realise that it was Liz who was the “petrol head” and was totally responsible for choosing the vintage Bentley sportscar that they sped-off in after the ceremony!  The hall and its grounds, is perfect for a “relaxed” wedding, with the red brick of the buildings glowing in the late evening sunset, providing a beautiful backdrop for some lovely bride & groom portraits.  In contrast to the out-house which we used to capture Michael and his groomsmen having the obligatory cigar like naughty school-boys! A beautiful day with a fantastic group of people.
