Sylwia & Paul

Langley Priory

Amongst close family and friends Sylwia and Paul held an intimate wedding at Langley Priory. It was an early start to the day, arriving at Langley Priory at 0730 for bridal preparations; in return the “gods” blessed me with beautiful natural lighting, for the bridal prep. The day was a chilled and relaxed affair; documenting the day, it felt more like a group of good friends meeting up for “Sunday lunch” and a spot of late “afternoon tea”, with some time out for a game of croquet.  Langley Priory is amongst England’s finest venue for small, intimate weddings. Sitting in a secluded hollow, shielded from the outside world, this beautiful Grade II listed country house is steeped in history and goes back, in parts, nearly 1000 years. Built on the remains of a 12th century Benedictine nunnery, the Priory has been a private family home for 450 years.  The Priory is a photographers dream. It offers great natural lighting internally and various locations within the grounds, providing different types of backdrops for formal group photographs and of course Bride and Groom portraits.
